Before and after
- Take the candidate's name, email, phone and profile links out of the CV and the notes. Use "Candidate A".
- Name any other employer the candidate is talking to as little as you can. The prompt keeps it out of the client write-up, but the safest note is one that does not contain it.
- Leave health, family and age out of your notes. The prompt keeps them out of the client write-up, but do not rely on that.
- Check your agency's data policy. Taking out the name lowers the risk. It does not make a CV anonymous.
What it does
Paste the client's job spec, the candidate's CV and your screening-call notes, with the candidate's name taken out. You get the write-up you send the client: a headline fit, every must-have marked SHOWN, CLAIMED, NOT MET or NOT DISCUSSED with the source line beside it, pay and notice exactly as the candidate said them, availability and one honest concern. You also get a short summary to send the candidate, so they can correct it, and a check list for you.
The evidence
2 invented cases (one clean, one with a CV that claims more than the call showed), each run on Claude Sonnet and gpt-5.6-luna, every output read against its sources. Fixed once and re-run. Not tested on real client work.
More on how it was tested
Two invented cases, each with a CV, call notes and a spec: a clean one (finance manager) and a harder one (head of customer success: the CV claims a team of 14 and 18m ARR, the call shows 6 and about 6m; pay given as a range with a floor above the client's fixed salary; one must-have never discussed; a competitor interview told in confidence). We read every output against the sources. The first version had faults on the harder case (on one model it marked a contradicted must-have SHOWN, put the candidate's current pay in the client write-up and missed that the pay ask was above the band). We fixed those once, re-ran, and read again. Two cases is a small test and the cases were written by us. We have not tested it on real client work, or on transcripts in another language.
Limits
- It works only from the spec, CV and notes you paste. It cannot check a CV elsewhere.
- It is a draft. You read it against your notes before it goes to the client.
- Thin notes give mostly CLAIMED and NOT DISCUSSED lines. That is the correct answer for thin notes.
- It writes one house style. Your own agency template was not tested.
- Not legal advice on data protection. Take the candidate's name out first.

Using it with an AI assistant
- Unzip the download. It holds the
candidate-submission-write-upfolder, a README and the licence. - Put the
candidate-submission-write-upfolder where your assistant looks for skills. The generic path is.agents/skills/(ornpx skills addfrom a folder). Tool-specific paths:- Claude Code:
~/.claude/skills/(or.claude/skills/inside one project) - OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and others:
.agents/skills/or the skills folder their docs name - claude.ai: zip the skill folder yourself, then Customize, Skills, the plus button, Create skill, Upload a skill (code execution must be on in Settings, Capabilities)
- ChatGPT or any chatbot: open the skill's
prompt.md, paste it into the chat, then paste your own text or link - Steps for each tool, with links to its official docs: how to install skills
- Claude Code:
- Ask for the job in plain words, for example: "Write the submission for this candidate. Spec, CV and my call notes are below.". The skill loads by itself.
