Before and after

Before (a plain chatbot, from memory): "a fast-growing bank with a finance team that is expanding in London". That is a guess.

After (this workflow, on a real public company site in our test): the brief quotes "Four offices in London, Cardiff, Southampton and Manchester" with its link, says the careers page showed no roles in the text it could read, says no hiring person is named, and tells you to check the live jobs list before sending. On a small firm with a three-page site it said so, named only the founder the page names, and warned that the email had no hiring hook.

What it does

For agency recruiters and business developers.

Give it a company and the desk you place. It opens the company's own pages (about, news, careers) and gives you one page: what they do, recent news, open roles and hiring signals, the hiring manager only if a page names one, angles for your desk and what to find out before you write. Every line carries a short quote and its link, or says "not found". Then it drafts a short first email to the hiring manager that cites one real fact from the brief and offers one small thing you can actually do.

Chatbots asked for this on their own tend to fill the gaps: a funding round that never happened, a hiring manager with a plausible name. A hiring manager spots that in one line. This workflow is built to leave a gap instead.

The evidence

2 real public company sites (one clear, one small firm with a thin site), each run on Claude Sonnet and gpt-5.6-luna with the page text pasted in, every quote checked word for word against the pages. Fixed once and re-run. Not tested on live browsing in ChatGPT, and no email has been sent to a real hiring manager.

Limits

  • On a thin site it gives a short brief with many 'not found' lines. That is the correct answer, and the email then has no hiring hook.
  • It names a hiring manager only if a page ties a person to hiring, or a small firm's page names its founder. It does not look people up.
  • It is a draft. Open the links and check the person's current role before you send.
  • It cannot know whether the company uses agencies, its budget or its current supplier.

Questions

How do I pay and get the files?

Checkout: Gumroad opens on this page. Click Add to cart, enter your email and card details, and check the total, with any VAT, before you pay. Prices here are in US dollars.

After you pay: a download page opens right away with the zip file, and Gumroad gives you a receipt there that you can resend. Open it, then paste the text from the prompts folder into ChatGPT and add your details.

Refunds and contact

If it does not do the job, ask and we refund you within 30 days. Reply to your receipt, or write to kaiventura.founder@gmail.com.

Which assistants does it work with?

Works in ChatGPT or any chatbot: you paste in your details and it writes the result. The workflow needs an assistant that can open web pages, or code execution and internet access to run its small Python script. With no web access, use the paste-in prompt and paste the company's pages.

For technical users

What is in the zip

Technical limits

  • It reads only pages it can open or that you paste. Job boards and pages built with JavaScript may show no roles; it says so rather than guess.

Using it with an AI assistant

  1. Unzip the download. It holds the recruiter-bd-brief folder, ready-made zips for claude.ai in a claude-ai folder, a README and the licence.
  2. Put the recruiter-bd-brief folder where your assistant looks for skills. The generic path is .agents/skills/ (or npx skills add from a folder). Tool-specific paths:
    • Claude Code: ~/.claude/skills/ (or .claude/skills/ inside one project)
    • OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and others: .agents/skills/ or the skills folder their docs name
    • claude.ai: Customize, Skills, then the plus button, Create skill, Upload a skill, and upload the zip from the claude-ai folder without unzipping it (code execution must be on in Settings, Capabilities)
    • ChatGPT or any chatbot: open the skill's prompt.md, paste it into the chat, then paste your own text or link
    • Steps for each tool, with links to its official docs: how to install skills
  3. Ask for the job in plain words, for example: "I place finance roles in Manchester. Brief me on [company], [website], and draft a first email to their hiring manager. I'm [name] at [agency].". The skill loads by itself.
