Before and after

Case B is our harder test, notes we wrote to look like real ones: rambling, a half-agreed pilot ("maybe, let me think"), a Thursday call that "might work", a competitor mention, an unsure budget ("ish 5k a year? I don't know") and a case study the seller was not sure was approved.

Before: ChatGPT's free model, asked only "write a follow-up email and a CRM note from these call notes":

"As discussed, we can support Fenwick & Cole with: ... A potential pilot for the finance team ... Reporting to help demonstrate progress ahead of your upcoming compliance audit ... I'll also check with our marketing team regarding the logistics-sector case study and send it over once I've confirmed it is approved for sharing."

CRM note: "Lorraine mentioned approximately £5,000 per year".

The email lists things nobody offered, promises a case study, tells the buyer about internal approval, and the notes never gave a currency.

After: the same model with the prompt in this download:

"You mentioned the August phishing incident that led to a fake invoice payment and said, 'never again.' You also asked whether we offer phishing simulations. We do.
Once you've checked the managing partner's diary, what day would suit for us to speak?"

Check before sending: "Confirm the case study is approved before sending it. The finance-team pilot was floated but not agreed, so it is omitted."
Still unknown, Budget: "'5k a year?' was uncertain; she does not want to spend 'crazy money'."

What it does

Paste your notes from a sales call or meeting. You get a follow-up email written the way you would send it, a 4-line CRM note, and a short list of what is still unknown. The email says only what was said and agreed.

The evidence

2 call notes we wrote ourselves (one clean, one rambling with a half-agreed pilot, a competitor and an unsure budget), run on Claude Sonnet as a workflow and on ChatGPT's free model (gpt-5.6-luna) as a paste-in prompt. Every output read against the notes. Early wording slipped on the free model (a named competitor, a mixed-up promise, a benefit claim) and was tightened; the final prompt was read clean on both cases. Not yet run on real sellers' notes.

More on how it was tested

Two call notes we wrote ourselves, because real call notes are private. Case A is clean: 25 minutes, two agreed steps with dates. Case B is harder: rambling notes, a half-agreed pilot, a call with the decision maker that only "might work", an unsure budget, a competitor mention and a promise the seller was not sure he could keep.

Limits

  • It works only from your notes. What you did not write down, it does not know.
  • Unsure details are marked for you to confirm, not guessed.
  • It writes a draft. You decide whether to send it.
  • It does not write to your CRM; you paste in the 4 lines.

What is in the zip

Using it with an AI assistant

  1. Unzip the download. It holds the after-call-follow-up folder, ready-made zips for claude.ai in a claude-ai folder, a README and the licence.
  2. Put the after-call-follow-up folder where your assistant looks for skills. The generic path is .agents/skills/ (or npx skills add from a folder). Tool-specific paths:
    • Claude Code: ~/.claude/skills/ (or .claude/skills/ inside one project)
    • OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and others: .agents/skills/ or the skills folder their docs name
    • claude.ai: Customize, Skills, then the plus button, Create skill, Upload a skill, and upload the zip from the claude-ai folder without unzipping it (code execution must be on in Settings, Capabilities)
    • ChatGPT or any chatbot: open the skill's prompt.md, paste it into the chat, then paste your own text or link
    • Steps for each tool, with links to its official docs: how to install skills
  3. Ask for the job in plain words, for example: "Here are my notes from a call. Write the follow-up.". The skill loads by itself.
